At the Community Climate Council, we strongly value diversity, inclusion, and equity in all of our operations, policies, practices, and programs. With that, we strongly encourage and value applications of individuals who identify as members of historically and systemically underrepresented and underserved communities in what is currently Canada.
The Community Climate Council is youth-founded and currently youth-led, with the majority of our organization’s members being between the ages of 18-30 years old. We strongly encourage youth (14+ and older) to join our organization and welcome general volunteer applications from community members who do not identify as a youth but are looking to take local action on climate change.
